 "Coleman - Sundome 12 x 10 Tent" 2009-10-20
By A. Clark (Fairfax, Va)
I have used this tent twice since I have purchased it in September of this year. First time I used it was on a crisp cool October day in George Washington National Forest in Virginia. I was surprise how easy it was to assemble for one person. I love the amount of space inside. Felt very roomy. The rain-fly covered the tent nicely.

Then came the second time I used it. This time was with a group of friends on a 3 day mountain biking trip in the GWNF. The first day the weather was cold and it was drizzling. The tent again went up with ease (in the drizzling rain). I must say I felt like the king of the mountain with the size of this tent and everyone else had a little 5x7. I got all my gear in the tent and put up my air mattress. The rain picked up later on and it came down steadily. When I went back to the tent I notice I puddle of water in the corner. When I got up close I notice a slow drip coming from the seams. still raining the next day I look around and saw another puddle in another corner. Same thing a slow drip I check all the corners and notice a puddle behind the air mattress. Three corners had leakage. I put rags underneath and that seemed to stop it from dripping into the puddle.

A couple of notes. The light was great with the remote control. The pockets and the floor mats are nice features. I had to give it three stars because of the leakage after only two uses.

 "Coleman lighted dome tent" 2009-08-18
By Robert W. Frenck (Lakeport, California)
Great product. Easy to assemble even for an old camper. Easy to move around in and very well constructed. Hardly any condensation inside the tent. Compact and light. Would recommend this product for camping family. Large enough to accomodate four people comfortably. Kept out light rain. No leakage. Also, the price is right. I used the tent for a four day trip to the ocean and it paid for itself in savings on motel bills.

 "Coleman Sundome 12X10" 2009-06-04
By Ken Brooks
This product is awesome and should meet the needs of all campers that use this product. It sets up easily with one person. There is plenty of head room and you will not bump your head on the dome light that attaches to the ceiling. The Tent accumulates minimal humidity and has more then enough ventilation. I love this tent and enjoy using it every chance I get. Coleman did an awesome job with this tent by manufacturing something that is useful and straight forward. Enjoy.

"I had to return this tent" 2010-01-30
By N. Quinn (Orlando, Florida)
I had to return this tent for two reasons - it was not waterproof and flooded twice during an overnight trip and it was delivered defective. One of the clips on the outside was entirely ripped off and torn. I would not recommend this to anyone.

"Hard to pitch and it leaks" 2010-01-24
By Elizabeth Dove (Florida)
I own a number of tents of various types for solo and group camping. I have never had a tent so irritating to pitch or so generally badly designed. There is no flap over the zipper, so rain pours in. The rain fly invites rain into the tent. Seams leak even after sealing. Save yourself some grief and keep shopping.

"This tent worked great in Colorado" 2009-07-28
By C. Markham
It rained buckets, it blew, and then the sun shined. The tent worked great, no leaks. It took 2 people to set up the tent, but it only took us a few minutes. I really like the dirty shoe pockets and the mud floor at the entrance. I needed a tent that I could stand in. I could stand up, stretch, and get ready in the morning without rolling around trying to get my pants on while laying down (I'm 6'4"). People at our campsite said they were going to get this jeep tent because their Eureka leaked and was too small.

This tent is HUGE!! Well worth the money.

"Not an easy tent to erect" 2009-07-20
By Carl G. Bodin (Nevada)
I bought this tent as I'm getting to old to sleep on the ground. My wife and I had a difficult time erecting this tent even following the directions. There are two corner poles at each corner. When you insert the pins in the bottom of the pole then try to insert the fiberglass bow

into the plastic socket the other poles will fall out at the opposite corner. Thankfully we had some help from another camp site. I've been camping and hunting for over 45 years so I'm not a newbe.

 "Leaks Badly Through Zippers" 2009-06-04
By Uncle Echo (Plainfield, IL)
I have to think there is a recall on this tent. The zippers are simply not designed correctly to prevent water from leaking in. Other tents have flaps to prevent water from even getting to the zippers, but these are completely exposed and leak like crazy with any rain whatsoever.
