The Sport Series Canopies offer slanted legs for stability. The frame is constructed of tubular steel with high performance synthetic joint components and is bonded with DuPont thermoset baked on powder coating to prevent chipping, peeling, rust and corrosion. The legs are four-point adjustable for height. The polyester fabric cover is treated inside and out with fade blockers, anti-aging and anti-fungal agents. Well, It does not leak! Easy to setup, but was told it would fit my First-up cover and it does not. BUT, I think with a few alters it really works out better. It is to small for the Cover but with using bunge cords I have more over hang and more space for the heat to get out the top. If it rains and there is no wind I can leave the windows open wide with no rain coming in. I highly recommend this type of tent for people with very bad backs.

The person responsible for the design of these augers clearly doesn't understand the principle behind a screw. The plane of the auger is not constant and the fins are not perpendicular to the axis of the rod. The result? Instead of digging down into the ground and holding tightly, this thing either just spins and won't dig in because the changing plane gives too much resistance or if you push REALLY hard and get it to go into the ground, it just creates a huge void where the hold-down will move up and down nearly two inches.

My advise...don't make the same mistake I did and pay your hard-earned money for these pieces of garbage. Buy a few "candy-cane" tent stakes at your favorite camping supplied dealer...they're much cheaper and will actually work.

 "WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!!!!!!!!!" 2009-12-08

I bought this as an early Christmas present for my fiance' that had just bought a new Mustang. #1 the instructions tell you to put the entire frame together and then you have to take each part apart to put the tarp on. #2 Took over 6 hours to put together. 2 people working on it for 3 hours and then 4 people working on it for 3 more hours. 4 days after we put it together, we had about 15 minutes of bad wind and pulled the anchors out of the ground and it went tumbling through the yard. #3 When I called to file a claim, they pointed out that in the instructions, it says not to "permanently" use the 15" anchors that were given and that they suggested the 30" anchors that they sold for another $30 which was the rebate amount. After telling them that I had used the 15" anchors "temporarily" like the instructions had said, they argued that it was not covered under the warranty. More than half of the shelter parts were bent including screws, poles and anchors. FYI it is only less than 2 weeks old and we took the entire thing apart and it is already rusting. If there were a way to rate this item less than one star, I would!!!!!!!!!!!! What a piece of junk.
