It's dark when you reach camp, so you can't see the tiny cactus or the gritty ground on which you're about to set your tent. Good thing you use the Big Agnes Seedhouse Superlight Series Tent Footprint to protect your Seedhouse SL Tent's floor. Should you experience a monsoonal downpour during your night in the desert, the footprint also helps keep your tent floor dry so you don't wake up in a damp sleeping bag. When weather and bugs are less of a factor than keeping weight low, leave your tent's body at home and take just the fly and this footprint on your journey.
