Jack's Plastic tent bag is 2500 cubic inches 9.3" X 38" tall (rolled down to maximum capacity) Tent stow bags are simply longer canoe stow bags. They are longer to accommodate any length of tent pole. Often it is not possible to break camp with a dry tent. For this reason a tent bag makes great sense. This bag helps keep your damp tent away from your other dry goods. Stow bags are all made with 18 oz PVC coated polyester fabric. Smaller stow bags are intended to be used in canoes and kayaks for storage, or on rafts to replace ammo cans. They have a handy grommet in the bottom of a flat seam. With this system the bag can be hung upside down on a "chicken line" in the front of the boat away from the boatman. This makes them easy to get into, and the water drains away from the closure. Never pack your tent in with your clothing or sleeping bag. Tents tend to be damp or wet in the morning by packing sepertaly keeping the moisture out of your other dry items.

The possibilities are limitless for the different ways that you can setup the Siltarp3. The 30 denier parachute ripstop nylon with silicon impregnation weighs only 1.35 oz per sq yard. It is incredibly strong and resilient. The Siltarp3 has a seam down the centre of the 12 ft length, which provides extra strength but does require manual sealing (Silnet seam sealant provided). There is 1 lightweight nylon tie loop sewn to a reinforced centre patch and there are 20 lightweight nylon webbing loops sewn to the corners and at 2 ft intervals along the 12 ft sides and 2'6" intervals along the 10 ft sides. These loops facilitate a variety of setups on trekking poles, paddles, avalanche probes or off trees.
